When Cheryl comes to town it is time for some mother/daughter FUN time. As part of my Mother's Day gift from my children, Cheryl and I went together to get pedicures. So much fun! Unfortunately, we forgot to take cameras with us so there are no pics to post here.

Another fun thing Cheryl and I did together was go to a friend of Kendra's (a friend of Kyle's) house for a make-up makeover. Kendra taught us how to apply make-up correctly. Ok....no critiquing us the next time you see us, because we don't have the tools or the knowledge we wish we had to pull off the effects she got, but at least we know a little more about what we are doing now. Here are some before and after pics:

I've blogged before about how much we like to go to the beach to ride our beach cruisers from Venice Beach to the Santa Monica Pier. Having Cheryl along was a treat. I forgot to take my camera, but Cheryl took hers so we do have a couple of pics of that adventure. However, when Cheryl was trying to take a picture of Alan and I while riding along, she ran off the trail and her camera fell in the sand and the camera wouldn't work afterward. Bummer!!! That's why there are no pictures of Cheryl during that adventure.
This is the hazard of going to the beach without applying sun screen. Only my legs got burned, thank goodness. (Weird tan line, don't you think?) I'm sure they will be peeling really well by the time of the wedding in a couple of weeks. Bad timing!
