Media Maniacs
I have a confession to make -- I watch or listen to too many political shows. I am disgusted with the leaders of our country and their "solutions" to our country's problems. Satan has control of the government and I think he is licking his lips and delights in all of the chaos. When someone good comes along who would actually stand up for what's right and who could make positive changes in the way the country is run, the media demonizes them and tries to destroy their life and the lives of their family members. Sarah Palin seems to be in their cross-hairs right now. How do you feel about her and this issue? I have a poll to the right of this blog. Let me know how you feel.

I listen to too many talk radio shows too. I am more surprised at my friends and acquaintances who still adore Obama and demonize people like Sarah Palin. They don't seem to understand the constitution and what this country was founded on. God was a big part of our country in the beginning and it should be today in my opinion. They also don't seem to understand how capitalism works. I have had people tell me that I am a selfish person and that I need to be more Christ-like because I lack charity because of my political beliefs. I try to tell them that charity is a choice and you can't just force people to give; it takes away our agency. Why does it seem like the majority don't understand this concept? I guess many of us have been raised to feel entitled and to always want something for nothing.
OK, I'll stop rambling. my "discredited" news sources are "unfair and unbalanced" anyway right?
Great comments, Heather. I totally agree with everything you said. I, also, don't understand why people find these truths hard to understand. It all makes perfect sense to me.
We are living in strange times. I'm reminded of Isaiah 5:20. Those radical hippies of the 60s have grown up with a vengence. What makes them so powerful? They are organized. ACORN, the liberal media, Obama-the communty organizer, the brainwashing of college students, unions, etc. Washington is corrupt. Look at the Drudge Report and you read about a Louisiana Senator getting "bribed" to vote for the health bill--
Conservatives must work together. We fought amongst ourselves too much. Huckabee ruined Romney's chances last time. McCain wasn't really a conservative. Palin makes a lot of sense and we'd sure be better off with her in the WH than BO and his Chicago thugs. Then again, we'd be better off with just about anyone else--

Why don't you tell us how your really feel?????? You are right on. I am worried for our country and where it is headed. Our politicians and the Czars Obama has appointed remind me waaaay to much of the secret combinations spoken of in the Book of Mormon. This really is the latter days!
