Babysitting Duties

 Cheryl has a babysitter (nanny) who watches Kessler Monday - Friday while she teaches school and Parker is at work.  Unfortunately, the sitter had to have emergency gallbladder surgery on a Wednesday. Cheryl was able to secure temporary sitters for Thursday and Friday, but needed someone to watch Kessler this week so she called in her reinforcements - Alan and I. We drove down there on Monday morning (Cheryl didn't have to work that day) and watched Kessler on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. He is quite a handful, but we had a great time watching him and spending time with Cheryl & Parker.

Kessler is 19 months old and is full of personality and has lots of energy. He loves to talk, make animal noises, and run! We had a great time taking him to the park one to two times per day so he could release some of his energy.

He turned this box into a horse

He loves jumping and we felt it was unsafe, so we put the couch cushions on the floor and he continued jumping on the cushion-less couch.

He's quite a daredevil, but has very good balance. He walked up and back on this concrete balance beam without falling once.

I love how Kessler loves his "bampaw"! He was way more interested in Alan than he was me, but that's totally fine. It was very cute. Here are some pics of their time together.
