On September 22nd, we welcomed a new granddaughter into our family. She was born by C-section to Cheryl and Parker. Alan and I were privileged to be in California for the big event. Little Lainey Pearl Stronk was born at 8:30 a.m. and weighed 8 lbs. 3 oz. and was 20.5" long.
It was so much fun to take Kessler and Wesley to the hospital to meet their new baby sister.
They adore Lainey and like to shower her with hugs and kisses and they like to be around her.
Cheryl's comment on the picture below is that Kessler and Wesley are "the cutest sibling protectors!" since they are dressed in superhero costumes (the Hulk and Spiderman).
It was difficult saying goodbye to our three special California grandchildren and return home after spending 10 days with them.
Of course, our other 5 grandchildren are just as special to us as these three are. This was just a special time for this family. We love all of our grandchildren equally and we are so pleased with the grandchildren we have been blessed with. God is good and we are filled with gratitude for each one of them. They are all special in their own unique ways.
