We had to leave Arizona the day after Christmas because Alan had to work the next day.
To our surprise, we got word that it was snowing in Lancaster...AGAIN!
Since the usual route home on Hwy. 138 by Wrightwood was closed because of the snow, we had to take an alternate route over to the 14, where it was snowing but it wasn't closed.
It was snowing even harder by the time we got home and this is what our yard looked like.
Good thing we got home when we did because we ended up getting about 3"-4" total as you can see by accumulation of snow on this bench.
We are simply not used to getting snow here in Southern California. When it does snow, it's a bit of a nuisance because the county has no snow removal equipment, but it also adds a little bit of excitement.
