Today is Monday - the actual Memorial Day holiday. We are lucky to have several family members living close to us so we could get together today for a barbeque to celebrate our dearly departed as well as those who died in service to our country so we can enjoy the freedoms that we have. I love the country I was born and raised in and I love it when I can decorate my front yard with American flags to celebrate good old red, white, and blue.
We were able to enjoy a backyard barbeque with Eric's family, Cheryl's family, and Ryan. Nicole and Parker couldn't make it, but everyone else was in attendance.
The kids also wanted to spend some time in the hot tub (which we have cooled down for the summer).
I feel like we have the perfect back yard for our family get togethers and we enjoy gathering together and spending time with each other. My grandchildren are such a joy. So fun to be around!
