Lancaster has a hidden oasis in our desert called Apollo Park. We have taken our children and grandchildren there a few times, but we probably haven't accessed it as often as we should have.
Desiring to get out of the house during this lock-down situation happening right now, we headed to Apollo Park last week and took a walk (or for me, a ride) around the whole park. I had forgotten how beautiful the park is.
While at the park, we practiced social distancing and we wore our masks to cover our mouth and nose. We felt grateful to be able to bask in the joy of nature - God's gift to man.
